On July 22, Governor Kate Brown announced several new measures to help suppress COVID-19 in Oregon and drive transmission rates back down,
effective Friday, July 24:
Governor Kate Brown announced today that Oregonians statewide will be required to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces,
beginning this Wednesday July 1.
The guidance applies to businesses and members of the public visiting indoor public spaces. Face covering requirements are already mandated in eight counties:
Starting June 24
, face coverings will be required in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Hood River, Marion, Polk and Lincoln counties in indoor public spaces to help slow the spread of COVID-19. For more information:
