SMACNA National News

  • We are announcing the launch of an innovative association-wide engagement opportunity for individuals, contractors, and chapters. We are asking you to join other leading contractor members in SMACNAs top ranks, seeking an even greater legislative and policy impact for SMACNA. We ask you to join one of the new high-profile SMAC Administrative Fund (SMAC-AF) Leadership Clubs . This new club initiative IS NOT a political fundraising initiative or designed to raise funds to give to candidates for office. While SMACPAC supports candidates and elections, SMAC-AF supports the vitally important legislative and policy work going on behind the scenes by our contractor and chapter members. It exists solely to strengthen SMACNAs legislative and association policy advocacy. SMAC-AF will provide enhanced focus to increasing our chapter and member engagement activities and will boost needed local, state, and national political and legislative fundraising efforts. SMAC-AF represents an essential resource underwriting our policy research, strategic communications, and coalition building. It will jumpstart a sustained, high level contractor engagement effort that seeks to influence legislative policy outcomes before they reach a vote. The SMAC-AF Leadership Clubs will recognize those who step up for SMACNA and invest in and lead our policy, political, and legislative campaigns. Members of the top-level Gold Circle Club will play an active role expanding SMACNAs presence, credibility, and effectiveness where it matters most at the table where industry policy decisions are made. Members who join in SMAC-AF 2026 will be recognized as Founding Membersan inaugural group of leaders committed to building the future of our legislative and political policy advocacy. Founding Gold Circle Club Members will receive special recognition, an exclusive Leadership Club Founding Member pin, curated unique and collectible gifts, and entry for premium giveaways such as renowned wines like Opus One, Silver Oak, and Chateau Montelena. Gold Circle Club members will also receive frequent consideration for invitations to numerous unique leadership programs, sports events, and Congressional engagement opportunities throughout the year. The SMAC-AF Leadership Gold Circle, Silver Circle, and Bronze Circle Clubs will honor and recognize tiered leadership giving levels for individuals, chapters, and companies: Contributions to the new SMAC-AF Leadership Clubs are considered a direct, association supportive business contribution and have generally been deemed tax deductible*. Further, Club membership is a generous way to support the long-term strength, credibility, and effectiveness of SMACNAs member advocacy. We need you and every SMACNA member to show up and step up this year by becoming a SMAC-AF Leadership Gold, Silver, or Bronze Club member. Please join with other SMACNA leaders to help build the policy and legislative victories to come for SMACNA and its union contracting industry by making your online donation TODAY . You can also download our donation form by clicking here . Thank you for considering and joining us in one of the inaugural SMAC-AF Leadership Clubs, an innovative but essential effort to advance SMACNAs political and legislative policy advocacy.
